Alistair Harrison CMG, CVO has been Marshal of the Diplomatic Corps since January 2014. Previously a career diplomat he has been the UK’s High Commissioner to Zambia and more recently Governor of Antigua. As Marshal he is The Queen’s diplomatic representative and the link between the Royal Household and overseas diplomats accredited to the UK.
As a former career diplomat Alistair is well placed to promote a strategic perspective on the economic, social and technological potential of the Commonwealth both as individual members and collectively as a ‘family.’
